Our Process

 

1. Pre-Construction

Experience has taught us that when the client, architect, and contractor are involved early in the project, the vision is clearly recognized and reflected in the end product. We want to be involved as early as possible to provide input and solutions to optimize the budget and building process.

2. Site Evaluation

Early site evaluation is crucial to planning the construction phase. We take time to meticulously review how the site will be used and organized during construction, setting the stage for a clean and orderly project site which in turn improves quality, efficiency, and creates a pleasant work environment.

3. Estimates

Using a transparent and in-depth line-item estimate and budget format, our process enables clients to clearly see project costs. During this process, we are able to offer alternative solutions and options to address any budgetary concerns.

4. Communication

In conjunction with the cost estimate process, we build a project schedule and provide regular updates of the timeline during the construction phase. All scheduling is tracked in our project management software, BuilderTrend, which we use to share information with the client and architect which allows all parties to track progress, budget, documents, and more. Daily updates are done in BuilderTrend which include photos of the site with narratives on what was completed on a given day. Change orders, milestones, selection due dates, and schedule changes are all also viewable with alerts to maintain a fluid operation.

5. Post-Construction

We maintain relationships with our clients after building their dream home, and we are by their side if any issues come up, to guide and direct with maintenance requirements, or to help when the decision is made to add that covered BBQ area behind the house.
